What do I do if I am the winner?

If you win an auction, you will receive an email notification, giving you further instructions on how to pay for your item.  In most cases, you will have up to 14 days to pay.  You can also navigate to the "Won Auctions" area from the drop down menu by your user name to pay for your won items.

How does random BIN work?

An Auction may or may not employ random BIN triggers.  When employed, random triggers are automatically generated by the system and applied to the bid series when the auction is activated.  The BIN is triggered when a bidder hits a prices that was assigned randomly by the system.  The bidder will then have the option to buy at the current price or to let the option expire and the bidding will continue.

How do I sell items on your website?

We have a Corporate Program and a Non-Profit Program.  Please visit our Contact Us page and send us a message to learn more.

What happens if the winning bidder fails to pay for their item?

The Auctioneer reserves the right to offer the item to the bidder who was next in line to purchase (next highest bidder for Ascending Auctions, next lowest bidder for Reverse auctions.)

How do I determine the reserve price?

If you are using the Ascending Auction type, then you may want to enter a reserve price, below which the property will not sell.  This should be the price that is your absolute lowest price you are willing to sell your property for.  If using our Reverse Seated Auction or Fixed Price Seated auction, it is not necessary to set a reserve price.

How long does an auction last?

Most Reverse Seated Auctions last anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on the type of item for sale.  Note that the clock time is a maximum time limit (often 20 or 30 minutes), but most auctions are over much faster.  Most Ascending Auctions last from a few days to a few weeks.  Refer to the auction details for more information.
